Pinche!

As of yesterday, I am back in Brisbane, awaiting the arrival of Texas mates Jen, Kim, and Trevor. In the 4-person dormitory room, I shared it with two Swiss German surferboys and a bloke from Detroit, Dave. While still at university, Dave had studied abroad in Spain for 13 months. Then, he had a 6-week internship in Monterrey, Mexico, where he picked up heaps of Mexican slang. He was pretty proud that he learned "pinche" and how to use it well. And, I too, was proud of him. HA!
