Meat Pie
While in OZ, I quickly learned to love the meat pie. Unlike an an American potpie which is a stew enrobed in a crust, the Aussie meat pie is smaller and has just a few ingredients. There is a wide variety of pies, from the staple ground beef to chicken curry to my favourite, cracked pepper (with beef). They only cost about A$1-2 and are Australia's first fast food, dating back to the late 1800s.
